Summer Vacation

So a friend of mine,who is also a nurse, had a procedure done many years prior when her kids were smaller. I guess her kids were old enough to know better but still young enough to get into trouble. Anyway the doctor had given her some pain medication, which made her somewhat loopy. While she was in this loopy state her children decided that it was a good idea to have her apply at a summer camp as a nurse. But made sure that her kids got to go free. She didn’t even realize what they had done till she accepted the position. They put together a resume, faxed it to the camp, and set up the interview without her knowing. Then because of her loopy state she had a phone interview. And her just really answering questions the camp owners had, she got the job.

Now when she came of her drug induced loopiness, she figured out what they had done, and was livid. But after looking at the location, the camp owners website, and researching the camp, she thought, “well why not!” That next summer off she and her kids went to upstate New York. They arrived at this beautiful almost resort like camp and it was breathtaking. The most beautiful view she had ever seen. She had said that she worked at that camp 3 summers in a row, it was the most fun she had as a nurse. I told her you should of thanked your kids for their sneekiness. She said, “Never. They would never get that satisfaction!” I thought, “ Now why didn’t my kids think of that?”
